ABS, DSC, BRAKE warning Lights

Postby gun621 » Sun Mar 04, 2012 6:48 pm

Hi all,

The following warning lights keep coming on and off frequently. Also when the light comes on the brake would go funny when I depress the brake while turning the steerling left or right...Does anyone have experience or know what is wrong?

just a simple guess as I never been into such modern bimmers, did you checked the tyres pressure at 4 corners yet?
E36 M3 3.0 Dakar coupe & E46 M3 Imola cabrio ( manuals ) - all gone
Currently E36 M3 3.0 sedan & E46 330 touring

Brake warning lights showing that the brake pad isn't thick enough and need to change it.
Tyre Light showing not enough pressure and after refill, it need to press the control knob to reset it.
ABS - No idea.......

How old is your car? Have you ever change the battery?

My E46 M3 did the same and it was the case of a faulty ABS sensor. Got it replaced and nothing has popped up since then!

I got the same problem in my e60 m5. The hillholder will stop functioning when these light are on. Finally got ABS sensor at dealership. Somehow they did not charge the parts and only charge labour even though it is past warranty period. Can refer to this subject I posted here before (around 4q 2010).
