AutoSolutions SSK and Ken's shop

Postby honzy » Thu Apr 21, 2011 7:55 am

after a really long wait, i finally got my SSK yday and installed it at Ken's shop.

a positive experience so far. it is so much shorter and more precise than stock. excuse my limited knowledge as i've never driven exotics - my only comparison is my old s2000 but i think most would agree that its got a pretty good gearbox. the new shifter gives an almost s2000 like feel and imo is at least 50% better than the stock m3. the bushing should settle which may change the feel a bit after a few weeks, i'll report back.

the experience at Ken's shop is a very positive one. i was late and the job took 3 hrs to complete. the mechanics were professional and continued to work after hours with zero complains and continued to be helpful. the shop is clean and very tidy, which is a a plus. i would recommand this shop to others and will definitely go back.
