To update you guys - finally got it back to Chai Wan last week for an inspection of the problem. Turns out to be a faulty ABS pump. Service advisor said parts alone is HK$35K but good news is I don't know how he did it, he said he managed to claim it thru factory even thought warranty is out. I just have to pay for labour. But parts is not available in HK so have to wait to be shipped from Germany. So took the car back for the time being.

More to tell when it is fixed.

I've always recommended BMWHK service to friends. Their charges are actually quite reasonable for a premium German brand

Finally got the car back with the ABS/DSC unit replaced. Charged about 2K for labor, brake oil and misc. Have been driving for a week without lights blinking up now. Happy happy :D

Also joined their 24hr Roadside Assistance for HK$380 a year. they say it includes free towing, change flat tyre (mine doesn't have a spare), boost dead battery. Think it's well worth it.

I've purchased roadside assistance for many years.

Because my car has no spare wheel.

I believe the price applies to all Bimmers, irrespective of model years. Definitely cheaper than AA

mine neither. only got a pump and one of those filler. SA at BMW advises not to use filler, because if the rubber fill does not spead evenly, then you need to take the wheel and tyre out and scrape the filling out, which cost more than a brand new tyre.

I managed to fix my abs/dsc problem outside the bmw workshop.

Send the ABS module to some US repair specialist and the problem was fixed at a fraction of the cost that BMW HK is asking,
BMW HK Is a rip off.

I also checked local spare parts shop and the whole module + pump only cost $5,xxx
Don't understand BMW can dare to ask for HK$3x,xxx

Only 3 weeks back I left the E93 alone for 2 weeks in an outdoor car park. Came back and ABS, DSC and handbrake lights all came on.
Took it back to BMW Chai Wan, quoted me 9k for a faulty computer.
(apparently that is with a 80% discount?!).
Just got it fixed this week. Should have read this post before. Maybe it is the battery. 8-(

BMW seem so unreliable from these posts. hehehehe, thats why when I travel europe this month it will be in a LEXUS, not BMW or Merc. Last thing I want is some stupid pump or ecu failure to screw up my vacation.

BMWHK "replace", they won't fix a thing, and when they replace, they actually replace ALL of the related components, therefore the bill is usually very expensive.
Also you will have to consider they will offer you 24 months warranty on the replaced parts, therefore you are actually paying for the "insurance" part too ...
