the rain was pretty bad on the first day, but it was fine, the instructor wont let us go fast anyways.

the 130 was very easy to control and, even when it slide, the feedback from the car was progressive; just a bit of counter steering and the car went straight again easily (with DTC semi-off). brakes were fine too.

On the second day, altho the track was mostly dry, the apex was still flooded with rain water, and the grass was still very wet. we had the DTC turned on most of the time. We (mostly me) overheated the gearbox at the hot lap sessions , did some late braking and over heated the tires... and then over heated the front rotors that they were warped. The instructor had to supply us another 130

One of the cars in our group did some impressive spun out @ the hot lap sessions @ turn 10. I believe the driver over-speeded when coming out from the apex> understeer > realize not enough space > hard brake > spun out on to the grass on the right> back to the track > 270' turn > slide to the grass on the left. Luckily no one was hurt nor the car was damaged 8)

over-all we had fun. looking forward to antony's photos and videos. :D

Thanks for everyone who organized the event!

You guys really worked the 130i! Sounds like it was fun! Glad to hear.

Some of us did Level I in the rain and I recall we didn't ease off just because it was wet - we were driving the 325i though.

Hope you got that spin on video or camera!!

You just miss Ms Choi! So much that you've confused she was in Level II, not I! hahaha

I do agree though - the 325i was actually better to drive.
